Scilly60 Events launched in 2023 with its flagship event: a 60 km multi-stage ultramarathon trail race. It has since grown into a vibrant organisation delivering a variety of adventurous inter-island sporting events throughout the stunning Isles of Scilly archipelago.

Scilly60 was founded and is run by Wez Swain, a passionate outdoor enthusiast with a love for adventure in all forms—running, climbing, kayaking, open-water swimming, and cycling. His goal is to share these experiences and the beauty of the islands with others.

Wez’s Notable Achievements

• Competed in the World Swimrun Championships (2017 & 2022)

• Completed the 100-mile Arc of Attrition ultramarathon

• Authored the rock-climbing guidebook for the Isles of Scilly

• Became the first person to swim from St Agnes to Bishop Rock Lighthouse (April 2024)

• Completed the 630-mile South West Coast Path, documented in his book The Power of a Pasty!
