Walk Scilly 2026

11 April and 24th April.

Join Wez for a walking adventure like no other — a full-day journey across all five inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rich stories, and unforgettable island moments.

A Multi-Island Experience

Your day begins in the quiet early hours at 05:30, setting off from St Mary’s Quay under torchlight as the islands sleep. You’ll loop the Garrison in darkness before hopefully catching a spectacular sunrise over the Eastern Isles while rounding Peninnis Head.
After completing the full circumnavigation of St Mary’s, the group will board a dedicated boat and continue on to complete coastal loops of St Agnes, Bryher, Tresco, and St Martin’s.

Throughout the journey, Wez will guide the group, sharing stories from Scilly60 events and insights from his many years of island adventures.

A Well-Earned Finish

After visiting all five islands, we return to St Mary’s for a relaxed celebratory meal at the Gig Shed Café — partners are welcome to join.*

Pace & Requirements

This event is uniquely challenging to organise, with tight tidal windows on certain islands — in some cases, less than 10 minutes of safe landing time.
To complete the full itinerary, walkers must maintain a minimum pace of 3 miles per hour (12:30 min/km).

If a participant is unable to sustain this pace, they may be asked to stop at the end of the current island loop. In some situations, a shortcut may be required.

Please ensure you are confident walking at this pace for a full day. This is not a gentle stroll — it is a full, fast-moving island adventure.
