The race that started it all. Scilly60 is the flagship 60km multi-island trail challenge, taking runners across all five inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly. Competitors will complete every inch of coast path on St Mary’s, St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher, and St Agnes before returning to St Mary’s for the final 5 km push to the finish.

This is the ultimate way to experience the raw beauty, technical terrain, and wild spirit of the archipelago.

What are the differences between each event?

Scilly42. The Marathon.

(previously known as Scilly60%, to save confusion we have changed to the distance)

Cut off’s based on 8:30/km or 13:20/mile. (slightly friendlier cut offs, slightly less distance, still a big challenge!)

Run the coast path of St Martins, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes before the cut off. Finish with 5k on St Mary’s with no cut off.

Approximately 42km in total.

Scilly60. The Original.

Cut off’s based on 7:30/km or 12:00/mile

Run the coast path of St Mary’s, St Martins, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes before the cut off. Finish with 5k on St Mary’s with no cut off.

Approximately 60km in total.

Scilly110. The Ultimate.

Cut off’s based on 7:30/km or 12:00/mile

Run the coast path of St Mary’s, before two loops of each St Martins, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes before finishing with one final loop on St Mary’s. There is a cut off on the final stage of St Mary’s, this is based on 8:30/km due to the dark. (runners with a Scilly60 finish will be given a priority entry)

While the islands may be small, the terrain is anything but gentle. Expect continuous undulation, rocky sections, sand, sea spray, and technical coastal paths that demand focus from start to finish.

Don’t mind what event you do?

At the moment participants can only apply for one event, please choose your prefered. Once the ballot has happened and places offered, participants will be given the chance to join any waiting list they fancy, including more than one.

Doing the Double or triple?

At the moment participants can apply for one event, this allows more people to come and enjoy the events. With a month to go, I will email runners if they want the chance to sign up for an extra event or all 3, as with such a short time frame, it can be tricky to fill last minute drop outs.

What if I need to drop out before the race?

There are no deferrals or transfers. Participants can ask for a refund up to the 16th March 2027, this will be paid in full with just a £15 admin fee. After this date, I am afraid there is no further refund options.
