Scilly Swimrun 2026

Scilly Swimrun hosts the UK’s Only True Inter-Island Swimrun Events. 

When Mats and Micheal, the founders of swimrun racing discovered The Isles of Scilly, they called it the Swimrun Paradise! 

Sunday 12th July. The Archipelago, 32km.

The flagship swimrun event, A swimrun like nothing else in the UK. It’s time to fully immerse yourself in Scilly Swimrun.

There is a slight course change this year; we are starting and finishing on the beautiful island of St Martin’s. This swimrun starts with a short but challenging run followed by 3 big swims totalling around 5km, broken up by what I feel is one of the best views on Scilly from the top of the uninhabited island of Great Arthur as well as a twisty turny run through the woods of St Mary’s. Once on Tresco, at the second aid station, you will be joined by the Northern Traverse swimrunners. This group start at 1300, some of you will be in front of them, some of you behind and some will be swimrunning together. You will visit 5 more islands before finishing back where you started completing the iconic Archipelago swimrun. 

This course is the flagship of the Scilly Swimrun Series. Expect technical running, island hopping, beautiful inter island swims, a possibility of seeing a seal, and a complete adventure in one of the most spectacular locations in the world.
