Swimrun in Paradise
Scilly Swimrun 2026
Scilly Swimrun hosts the UK’s Only True Inter-Island Swimrun Events.
When Mats and Micheal, the founders of swimrun racing discovered The Isles of Scilly, they called it the Swimrun Paradise!
Sunday 12th July. The Northern Traverse, 15km.
The Northern Traverse is another new course this year. This event joins the second half of the Archipeligo course. By missing the the 3 biggest swims of the Archipelago route, this new event is much more accesible. With the longest swim of 1km and longest run of 5km this is could be one of the most beautiful intermediate swimrun courses currently available!
Swimrunners will traverse over 5 different islands. The race starts at 1300 on Tresco. At this time around half of the Archipelago swimrunners are expected to have passed through, adding a really interesting twist to the day.
This new course is a great addition to the Scilly Swimrun Series. Expect technical running, island hopping, beautiful swims and a real adventure in one of the most spectacular locations in the world.
Don’t forget to check out all the other swimruns over the weekend
